Just closed Katie Belle’s, the first time ever since moving here…

14 May

With my newly found “freedom”, I’m able to live as I haven’t lived in a long time.

With no responsibilities at the house, comes the opportunity to run wild.  (UPDATE:  my “freedom” was short-lived, as of 11PM on Monday, the 16th…after a visit to Tavares and a stop at McDonald’s before arriving back at the house.)

Ok, so it’s not wild.   But it’s definitely a lot more peaceful, a lot less stressful.

I drank a beer and danced to Ray’s memory, remembering him as he happily danced so many times.  I hope to see Didi there tomorrow at the funeral, to tell her what a good friend we’ve all lost with his passing.

Rest in Peace, Ray P.
